My name is Josh Brewer.

I am an artist whose work focuses around creating objects that appropriate memes and icons from the internet.

I grew up on the internet, engrossed in YouTube, video games, and meme culture. Through digital photography and sculpture I am able to create objects that bastardize / re-contextualize internet culture to convey my own existence. I create these objects in response to my own depression and suicidal thoughts to be a cathartic release.
